La Chilindrina and Paola Montes de Oca will star in the Mexican version of "La Sustancia"

La Chilindrina and Paola Montes de Oca will star in the Mexican version of "La Sustancia"

Neighborhood of Eternal Youth.- After the immense success of the film The Substance , the national film industry is now preparing a mole-flavored remake of the story, but with Mexican actresses.

The plot, which revolves around an actress who has fallen into disrepair due to the passage of time and her obsessive search for a younger version of herself, will have its own national version. The stars will be none other than María Antonieta de las Nieves "La Chilindrina" and Paola Montes de Oca, in an acting duel that promises both tears and collagen.

María Antonieta de las Nieves "La Chilindrina" supported Paola Montes de Oca, who plays her in the #Chespirito series, in every detail. 😍👍

The Substance will have its version with Chilindrina flavor

This psychological thriller, which now promises to include more flip-flops, tight braids, and outrageous cries, is reportedly already in the filming stage, as seen in leaked images of both actresses on set (or " be ," as the misspelled community manager called it).

"It's a story about what happens when two generations of actresses confront their demons... and a lack of budget," explained the director, without revealing the release date of the Mexican reboot, which will clearly be a hit on Blim .

At the beginning of the year, many of us would have assumed that something like The Substance was impossible to succeed at the box office. Even its original studio thought so, and that's why they abandoned it. It could have easily been released on streaming like thousands of movies a year and it would have... pic.twitter.com/IIU2ua3Yyl

In the images already circulating, La Chilindrina can be seen adjusting Paola's soul (although it could also be her dress), in what promises to be a more terrifying production than the saga of Santo against all the imaginary monsters and some invented by Chabelo.

Unlike the original version, this Mexican adaptation will include unique elements such as:

  • A strange substance, presumably Tlacote water,

  • An influencer protagonist who refuses to stop streaming live while crying,

  • And ghostly apparitions of Don Ramón, reminding them that fame is fleeting, but income is not.

And to better understand the series: we already know how much Florinda Meza earned for appearing in “El Chavo del Ocho.”
